Glossary
The terms Ongkrong Consulting works with, defined plainly. Each definition stands on its own.
- Coordination gap
- A coordination gap is the point in an operation where work must move between people, sites or systems and relies on manual effort to hold it together. It is where time, money or accountability is most often lost.
- Operating control
- An operating control is a system, step or rule built into a process so the work runs reliably and can be maintained by the organisation's own staff. It defines ownership, records decisions and keeps the process accountable.
- Multi-site organisation
- A multi-site organisation runs the same or related operational work across more than one location. Coordination between sites depends on records, hand-overs and consistent process rather than on people in one room.
- AI diagnosis
- The AI diagnosis is Ongkrong Consulting's free 30-minute first conversation. It reviews one coordination gap, its likely operational effect, the practical AI use cases worth pursuing, and where AI should not be used.
